Our approach is based simply on the recognition of the role of Customer and Supplier.

Whilst the OEM is generically the supplier of vehicles to the customer in the marketplace, each action in the vehicle product cycle is a Customer/Supplier event. Each individual work element requires input from a Supplier and output to a Customer.


The input requirements, processing action, deliverables and timing need to be fully defined and agreed for the interaction to be successful.

As an engineering service supplier, Grafton Consulting has developed this total quality philosophy to guide our customer relationships. By breaking down each work element into a defined input, processing and output section, the overall task becomes more manageable, and can be achieved cost effectively with higher quality and lower risk. Most important, it allows us to select the right calibre team members.

A natural part of this is to have an agreed communication and decision-making path with our customers to ensure that the 'corridor of direction' for projects is as narrow as possible.
